The City of Davenport has requested FEMA Public Assistance program funding to support repairs and the installation of flood mitigation measures at Davenport’s Union Station.
The public might recall the failure of temporary flood barriers in 2019 resulted in damage to the facility. Part of the recovery process included an in-depth review of ways to make the facility more resilient to floods. The application for funding is a result of that process.
