December 16, 2025 - The City of Davenport will observe New Year’s Day as a holiday on Thursday, January 1.
City Hall and Public Works will be closed.
Police Department front desk and Records Bureau will be closed.
Library Main, Fairmount, and Eastern branches will be closed Wednesday, December 31, and Thursday, January 1.
Parks and Recreation administrative office will be closed.
The River’s Edge will be open.
Vander Veer Conservatory will be closed.
Adler Theatre administrative office and the Adler Theatre Box Office will be closed.
RiverCenter administrative office will be closed.
CitiBus service will not be provided.
Compost Facility will be closed. Reminder: Compost Facility is now on winter hours through March 31. Winter hours are 8:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, except holidays, and closed on weekends.
There will be no garbage, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste collection on Thursday, January 1. Monday through Wednesday collection will occur on regularly scheduled days. Thursday and Friday collection will be one day late with Friday collection occurring on Saturday. Refer to the solid waste collection calendar for the holiday schedule. Reminder: curbside yard waste collection will end Friday, January 9, and resume Monday, April 6.
