(May 1, 2026) Reconstruction of Fairmount St between Hickory Grove Rd and Heatherton is expected to wrap up late May or early June. But improvements won’t stop there.  Once finished, work will shift to the intersection of Hickory Grove Rd and Fairmount for reconstruction, including ADA curb ramp improvements. Intersection work is estimated to be complete late June to early July. We’ll share updates as the project moves forward.

(April 27, 2026) More road improvements are on the way! Beginning Monday, April 27, reconstruction work will begin on Fairmount Street between Hickory Grove Road and Heatherton Drive.

Please follow the marked detours or choose an alternate route.

• North of the intersection: Kimberly Road → Hillandale Road → Hickory Grove Road
• South of the intersection: Central Park Avenue → Hickory Grove Road

As part of this project, ADA curb ramp improvements will also be completed at the Fairmount and Hickory Grove intersection.
