Collection Season and Frequency
Curbside collection of yard waste is offered weekly from the first Monday of the first full week in April through Friday of the first full week in January. The Compost Facility is available year-round for yard waste drop-off.
Collection Requirements
Yard waste must be placed in a kraft-ply bag with a yard waste sticker or in a yard waste cart for collection. Use this link for information on yard waste stickers, No Sticker Yard Waste Weeks, and our Yard Waste Cart Service. Yard wastes are considered: grass, leaves, and other vegetative materials such as garden debris, stalks, grasses, weeds and hedge trimmings.
Bundled Brush
The city will pick up bundled brush without a yard waste sticker during the yard waste collection season noted above. Brush must be bundled with twine or other natural/degradable material, no plastics or metals. Bundles should be no longer than 5 ft and weigh no more than 50 lbs for collection.
Logs, branches, and tree trimmings are considered bundled brush.
Logs/limbs greater than 6" in diameter or weighing more than 50 lbs can be dropped off without fee at the Compost Facility.
