The closure of the Rock Island Arsenal/Government Bridge scheduled for Wednesday, February 7th has been postponed. The bridge is now scheduled to close Monday, February 12th beginning at 8:30 a.m. and will remain closed until Wednesday, February 14th, at 7 p.m. for repairs to its lift mechanism. The bridge will remain open to pedestrian traffic. Signs and barricades will be placed during the closure.

The Rock Island Arsenal/Government Bridge will be closed on the following dates and times for repairs:
- Monday, January 29th beginning at 8:30am through Wednesday, January 31st at 7pm.
- Wednesday, February 7th at 8:30am through Friday, February 9th at 7pm.
The bridge will remain open to pedestrian traffic. Signs and barricades will be placed during the closure.
