The zoning request for a proposed Costco on 53rd Street near Fire Station No. 8 will have a second reading at next week's City Council meeting.
Aldermen moved the request on from Wednesday's Committee of the Whole meeting. The zoning request for the 17.88-acre site requires three votes for approval.
A handful of residents attended a public hearing on the request, sharing their concerns.
