Pine St 49th to 53rd Streets

(May 11, 2026) Work on Pine Street has reached the mid-way point! That means construction and travel will shift. Beginning Wednesday, May 13, traffic will be reduced to one SOUTHBOUND lane. Northbound traffic will be detoured at Cheyenne Avenue to Division to 53rd Street. Work is estimated to be complete late June/early July.

(April 3, 2026) The construction season is in full swing! A new project on Pine Street, between 49th and 53rd Streets, will start on April 6. Travel will initially be reduced to one northbound lane and will later switch to one southbound lane as construction progresses. The reconstruction and ADA sidewalk ramp improvements should be finished by early to mid-July.
