Zoning Violations

Zoning codes are in place to protect the character and maintain the stability of the City's residential and non-residential areas, preserve and enhance the value of structures, communities, and neighborhoods, and promote economic development and the preservation, protection, and conservation of natural resources by establishing rules for development than confirm with established land use policies.

Common violations of zoning codes include issues with fencing, home businesses in residential areas, RV, boat, and trailer parking, parking on grass, gravel, or dirt driveways, nonconformity of structure use to property zoning, setback encroachment, and auto repair.
