The City of Davenport says "Welcome Home" to the Dickerson family. BreaLynn & Donald Dickerson, along with their children, were recipients in our latest round of the Urban Homestead Program and are now proud homeowners. It has been a long journey and the hard work has paid off. As previous tenants of the Davenport Public Housing program for the past five years, after a long six years on the waiting list for that program, the family used the time to get organized and work hard to achieve their goals of home ownership. September was a month to remember for the Davis family. After applying for the Urban Homestead Loan Program, they were selected as one of the two final recipients for this round.
