FRESH Initiative

The City of Davenport offers assistance for new or existing businesses in the food industry located on the Rockingham Corridor. The FRESH Initiative offers a grant of up to $25,000 to support food-related ventures. Eligible businesses include, but are not limited to, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, catering services, goods production, and drive-thru eateries.

Requirements to be considered for FRESH funding:
  • Meet with Joel Youngs with the EICC Small Business Development Center for an initial consultation and to review or assist with the required documents below.

  • Three years of financial projections.
  • A business plan.
  • Project cost estimates.
  • A Purchase of Lease Agreement (only applicable if the business is new).
