(August 4, 2025) The City of Davenport is now taking applications for the seventh round of funding available through the award-winning Davenport DREAM Project. Applications will be accepted through August 29, 2025. Eligible homeowners could be awarded up to $20,000 to make exterior property improvements. Since 2019, The Davenport DREAM Project has invested $7 million in 277 properties for projects including new roofs, siding, paint, decks, and more.
“The Davenport DREAM Project works because of its impact on entire neighborhoods,” said Bruce Berger, Director of Community and Economic Development. “This investment supports the unique architecture and character that define our heritage neighborhoods.”
Round seven makes $900,000 available for new and existing homeowners to revitalize their properties within the Davenport DREAM Project area. Funding is available for owner-occupied properties in designated neighborhoods in the community. Homeowners selected in round seven will be notified by December 2025.
The application is available online at www.davenportdreamproject.com. Paper applications are available for pickup at Davenport City Hall (226 W. 4th St.) during normal business hours.
