Bus Etiquette
No matter which bus system you are using, please practice C.H.A.R.M. on the bus: Courteous, Helpful, Alert Riding Manners.
Please Do Not
- Smoke, eat or drink on the bus.
- Engage in unnecessary conversation with the driver, or in other ways distract the driver.
Please Do
- Be respectful of other passengers: vulgar language, loud talking, rowdiness, or harassment of any nature will not be tolerated.
- Keep front seats available for elderly or disabled riders.
- Keep cell phone calls private.
- Turn down headphone music.
- Empty and collapse strollers, walkers, and/or shopping carts and place them out of the aisle.
- Place large packages under your seat (or otherwise out of the aisle).
- Know that service animals trained to assist persons with disabilities are welcome!
- Report anything unusual or disturbing to the driver. If you See Something, Say Something!
