Why Davenport?

The City of Davenport program supports K-12 students by committing an AmeriCorps member's time to foster civic engagement, mentorship, academic and social supports. Since 2011, our members have directly contributed over 150,000 hours of volunteer service to the Davenport community. This program aims to decrease the high school drop-out rate, saving Davenport taxpayers over $292,000 per potential drop-out.
