Notice of Intent to Request Funds.

Request #1: Timber Ridge

The City of Davenport is looking to undertake a project known as Timber Ridge. The purpose of this project is the construction of a 3-story, fully accessible apartment building in Davenport, Iowa, creating a 52-unit rental community for independent living seniors 62 years of age and older.

On or about July 7, 2025, the City of Davenport will submit a request to HUD for the release of HOME Investment Partnership funds under the Affordable Housing Act of 1990 as amended, to undertake this project. 

Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the City's Community and Economic Development Department. All comments received by July 7, 2025, will be considered by the City prior to the authorizing submission of a request for a release of funds. Comments can be submitted by email to [email protected] or by mail as addressed: Attn: CED - Timber Ridge Comments, 226 W. 4th Street, Davenport, Iowa, 52801.

Request #2: Annie Wittenmyer

The City of Davenport is looking to undertake a project known as Annie Wittenmyer Family Housing. The purpose of this project is the adaptive reuse of property, resulting in the creation of 40 total rental units, three of which will be HOME low-income units.

On or about July 7, 2025, the City of Davenport will submit a request to the HUD for the release of HOME Investment Partnership funds under the Affordable Housing Act of 1990 as amended, to undertake this project.

Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the City's Community and Economic Development Department.
